Review:
The early opening time and downtown location made this luncheonette the choice for the Thursday Morning Breakfast Club. Perhaps we should have taken note of the name and gone for lunch instead.

There was not much good to take out of this breakfast experience. While they weren’t super busy there was only one server for the whole place and she was working pretty hard. Even so, the service was fairly disappointing. We never got more coffee unless we asked for it, water did not arrive until we asked for it about halfway through our breakfast, which we had to ask if she could take our order in the first place.

As far as the food goes, it took about 35 minutes to prepare our food and when it came it was far from inspiring. It was the epitome of mediocre. Two of us had the Italian eggs, which were very bland except for an abundance of carroway seeds which overpowered anything else of taste. The speed, portion and quality of the food, for the price that it was, was very disappointing.

The location is handy, the decor is decent, but the service and food left us feeling like we’d wasted an hour of our lives eating at this joint.
